With over 25 years experience, as a Chicago Realtor, Gordon is pleased to be joining with his colleagues, Taira Doherty and Mark Markarian, in forming the Keystone Group within Jameson Sotheby's International Realty. We are excited to collaborate our combined years of experience and dedication to our clients over the years.
Previously Gordon has worked for some of the best real estate companies in Chicago. During his career, Gordon has sold over $200mm of real estate.
Gordon is highly knowledgeable about Chicago’s real estate market, as well as the real estate itself, with experience in a broad range of price points, property types, and conditions. He is especially talented when it comes to estimating current market values and trends.
Gordon has a broad range of experience, including commercial real estate development, building construction, retail and wholesale sales of boating goods, boatbuilding and rigging, theatrical set and lighting design and construction, and honed set of communication skills developed as a professional actor.
A pet owner and avid animal lover, one of the things that Gordon is most proud of is that he is a founding member of Real Estate to the Rescue. In addition, Gordon is an accomplished musician and can occasionally be seen playing in local clubs.
Gordon and his wife Catherine, are longtime residents of Chicago’s Roscoe Village neighborhood, and enjoy participating in local events, such as the Roscoe Village Garden Walk, and Retro on Roscoe.
Taira Doherty comes from a family tradition in real estate. As a child, she often assisted her father who has been in residential sales and management for more than 30 years. A native of Chicago, Taira became a full-time broker nearly a decade ago. Taira’s husband is an established developer, specializing in custom single family homes. With her extensive knowledge of the city and vast experience in residential sales (especially new construction), she is uniquely qualified to help her client partners accomplish their goals.
Prior to real estate, Taira worked as a Special Investigator performing complex background checks on existing government employees, and screening new candidates. Taira graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B.A. in Criminal Justice.
Taira lives with her husband and two children in Chicago’s Albany Park neighborhood. She enjoys running along the lakefront, gardening, playing sports with her family, and exploring new restaurants throughout the city.

Mark has the unique ability to explain the core principles of home construction in an easily understandable way. Having built, managed, and remodeled a wide range of properties, and forged relationships across related industries, he is the ideal copilot for buyers seeking quality and value in Chicago's real estate market.
Mark believes that selling your home is a matter of following the three "P’s" – Price, Product and Presentation. With a working knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods and demographics coupled with a keen eye for detail, Mark takes the time and effort to prepare an analytical pricing analysis that conveys the true picture of your homes value and potential - Price. Next, Mark utilizes his extensive knowledge base to identify and articulate the “hooks” that make each home unique - Product. With a deep understanding of the buyer profile and decades of experience, Mark drives the marketing of each home around identifying and understanding the needs of the “Buyer Audience” - Presentation.
In addition, a love of Architecture, coupled with extensive world travel, gives Mark a complete and worldly understanding of architectural design, style and function. Mark lives with his wife and son in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood. He enjoys sailing, squash, golf and a number of other outdoor activities.
